Having been a farmer for many years John wanted to prove that a local producer, selling direct, can survive and indeed thrive, despite the dominance of the supermarkets. "We have been delighted at the comments from our customers – the fact they come back for more is, in my mind, testament to the quality of the product itself. Colin Ellis

 
After a long term career in the telecoms industry Colin looks after a number of areas of the business including this web site, as well as supporting John in the Business Development activities, so please feel free to contact him should you have any questions. Also chief 'Guinea Pig' for all new varieties!!
 
   
Richard Lawes
 
Richard is a professional stockman in every sense of the word. In addition to running his own sheep flock, and some local beef herds, he finds time to provide expert help with the livestock management at Greendene Farm.
   
Roni Lawes
 
Roni combines a busy career in the health service with pulling on her boots at the weekend to help her husband Richard with their livestock. She is also the chief sample preparer at our sales events. To fill the few remaining moments, she is also an excellent jazz singer and performs in the jazz trio 'BlueZoo'.
 
   
Andrew Caswell
 
Often to be seen wearing an apron and wandering around with trays of samples Andrew's support at the sales events in invaluable.
 
  
Jane Caswell
 
Jane's help at our sales events working with Roni in preparing the samples is superb, having samples available has proved such a success that without her amazing culinary skills our sales events would not be the same.
